You know, you're right, and there's so much I haven't tried. One way to find out, I guess. If I was going to boss a SOLDIER around and show him off, since he does have beautiful hair and great taste and I suspect a really great ass, where would we go? Errands, one of the parties, a nice date?

[ What she's really asking is what would make it fun for him, because she thinks she's going to be just as thrilled and embarrassed regardless. ]

[ She blushes, but it's not embarrassment. It's something...warmer? Happier? It reminds her of when she was a kid, and an adult would invite her to do something she had never done before.

And then she laughs. ] Yeah, Stamp. Marlene -- the little girl who lived sort of with me, anyway, she loves Stamp.

[ It wasn't like Tifa was used to people listening well all the time anyway, and she kind of admired it, when it wasn't causing people problems. She knew she could be too much of a good girl, and she didn't know how to fix it.

That, and her pulse quickens even as she thinks. Someone wanting to follow orders -- at least some of them -- stirred something she had no name for. And she wanted to see where it went. ]

Hmm...what if I had you help us pick matching outfits, and then I can go show you off at House Finch? I've never gotten to take anyone dancing.

Is that so? If I ever have the privilege of meeting her, she'll have one with her name on it. That pup is a surprisingly good listener when you have no one else to speak to after a frightful dream or a long day.
