Hi?? Yes? Aerith? Are you there or is this a recording. It's Tifa. You don't have to dance, silly. Unless you want to.

I'm here! {She laughs in open delight.} It's good to see you. I'll definitely keep my word, but not on the leaves.

Yeah. Yeah, I'm good. Getting...used to all this. But it's not the weirdest thing we've dealt with, right?

[ Her smile falters briefly. She still...doesn't really want to talk about...but what does it matter, if they're both here? ]

[ Her face dips as Aerith tries to answer. ]

Yeah. I don't know my way around yet but...where should we meet? I'll figure it out.

{They won't be bunking together, but so what? Aerith can find her.}

I'll make my way to your court. You'll probably see me.

I'll go out and look for you.

[ She's there whenever Aerith arrives, in a light white dress her court has given her, and barefoot. She almost feels like she's sleep walking when she spots Aerith, like this is a dream. ]

Hey! Over here.

{Tifa is gorgeous no matter what she wears! Aerith is in a similar dress - in pink - and she races up to her friend, embracing her immediately.}

I missed you! {Forgive the tears. She is about to apologize, but she stops herself, pulling back with a shaky smile.}

Are you okay? Really?

[ Not making light of the tears is easier, actually. Because Tifa hugs her hard enough to maybe restrict her breathing for a second, and when she pulls back, there are silent tears on her face too.

She breaks into a smile, nodding. ]

This is all weird, but I'm okay. Honestly, first time I've felt rested in weeks. No looming monster or fight or explosion or anything.

{Aerith smiles shakily, sadly, dabbing at Tifa's tears with her thumbs. Now, now, none of this! Then again, maybe it's...the right reaction. They have been torn apart for good.
