The first time, she didn't know anyone. She was injured. She'd never been to a city. Everyone she knew was dead.
Her heart skips. That last one...may still be true. But the rest -- It's nice, to have someone else who gets it. Multiple people, even. To be able to talk about what's going through, or not, and know she isn't alone in it. ]
